Error message when you click a trend line in a Call Leg Media Quality Trend Report in Lync Server 2010

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • The cumulative update for Microsoft Lync Server 2010, Core Components that was released in October 2012 is installed in a Lync Server 2010 environment.
  • You open a Call Leg Media Quality Report in the environment.
  • You open a Call Leg Media Quality Trend Report and drill down to a trend. To do this, you click "Trend", and then you click a trend line in a graph such as the "Call volume" or "Poor call percentage" graph.

In this scenario, the report for the trend line is not displayed. Additionally, you receive the following error message:

The 'Filter_PeriodStart' parameter is missing a value

Cause

This issue occurs because Lync Server 2010 sets incorrect values for certain parameters when it tries to display the report for the trend line.

To resolve this issue, install the following cumulative update:
